EMPG Group Berhad continued its commitment to occupational safety by organizing a Forklift Safety Handling Training session on 22 April 2024 for the warehouse staff. The one-day training focused on equipping employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate forklifts safely and responsibly in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) standards.
The training covered key topics including forklift operation techniques, safety behavior, risk awareness, load management, and safety precautions to prevent accidents and injuries. Participants also learned about common workplace hazards associated with forklift use and the importance of maintaining a safety-first mindset in daily operations.
Led by a qualified safety trainer, the session emphasized the importance of proper forklift handling procedures and encouraged proactive safety behavior
Participants who passed forklift certification test will then receive a Certificate of Attendance and a Forklift Driver Card, recognizing their competency and readiness to handle forklift operations safely within the facility.
