Our Background
Our Company was incorporated in Malaysia on 1 July 2022 under the Companies Act 2016 as a public limited company under the name of EMPG Group Berhad.
Our Group is principally involved in the retail and wholesale of apparel through a portfolio of brands, including our own in-house labels. We design, market, and sell a wide range of quality and affordable clothing for men, women, and children.
We manage a nationwide network of Retail Points across major cities and towns in Malaysia, supported by our own online stores and leading e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. Our Retail Points comprise Consignment Counters located within well-known departmental stores, retail shops, shopping malls, and high-traffic street locations across Malaysia, as well as standalone Retail Outlets primarily situated in the Klang Valley. As at the LPD, we operate a total of over 540 Retail Points, comprising 15 Retail Outlets and over 500 of Consignment Counters.
In addition to our retail operations, we operate a wholesale channel through which we sell our in-house brand products to third-party retailers and small business owners on an outright basis. We also act as a sourcing agent by facilitating the procurement of finished apparel products on behalf of our customers.
Overall, our Group’s business activities are conducted through two main channels: the retail channel, which focuses on the sale of menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, and related products through our physical Retail Points and e-commerce platforms; and the wholesale channel, which involves the sale and sourcing of menswear, womenswear, and childrenswear for third-party retailers.

Beyond serving wholesalers and retailers, Pinly also markets its own brand, catering mainly to the elder customer segment with practical and timeless designs.

How EMPG Form?
Empg Group Berhad was established on July 1, 2022, as an investment holding firm with subsidiaries including Exhaust Garment Sdn Bhd, Pasaraya MU Sdn Bhd and Pinly Garment (M) Sdn Bhd. Headquartered in Kedah, Malaysia, the company is primarily engaged in designing, marketing, and selling business and casual apparel for both men and women, as well as school uniforms under its own brands. Additionally, the company serves as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for third-party brands and house brands for a large format retailer in Malaysia. The distribution channels include 16 company-owned retail outlets in the Klang Valley, over 400 consignment counters at large format retailers and standalone retail outlets nationwide, as well as an e-commerce channel.
