First Aid Training Empowers Employees in Compliance with DOSH Requirements
To strengthen workplace safety and compliance with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) requirements, EMPG Group Berhad successfully conducted two sessions of comprehensive First Aid Training program for its employees on 18 – 19 September 2024 (Pinly Garments) and 26 – 27 September 2024 (Exhaust Garments), with a focus on equipping them with essential life-saving skills. The training ensures that staff are well-prepared to respond effectively during medical emergencies in the workplace.
The program was led by a trainer from St. John Ambulance Malaysia (Penang) with extensive experience in delivering first aid instruction across various industries. Participants received hands-on training in CPR, wound management, choking response, fracture care, and other emergency protocols — all in line with DOSH’s competency standards.
Upon successful completion of the training, each participant was awarded a Certificate of Competency, which is valid for three (3) years. This certification not only fulfills regulatory requirements but also reinforces the companies’ commitment to employee safety and well-being.
The training underscores the importance of proactive safety management and highlights the organization’s ongoing efforts to foster a secure and responsive workplace environment.
